What to prepare for your hammam getaway (optional) :
Sun cream for the summer
Some scarf to cover your hair when leaving the hammam and avoid falling ill.
Hair towels if needed or personal accessories such as toothbrush or hairbrush.
Shampoo or shower gel that you think you may need for personal reasons.
Itinerary :
1,5 h - 3 h : Hammam Beldi
At the agreed time we will pick you up at your riad or nearest accessible point. A local escort will go with you to the hammam and show you first hand what a Moroccan bath is like. Upon arrival at the changing rooms we change and head to the hottest room where the body absorbs the steam and a little ‘savon beldi’ is applied to the body. The savon beldi is a natural soap without parabens that we apply on the skin so that the toxins and accumulated dead skin come out more easily when rubbing.
Then we bathe with hot water drawn from a well that is in the same room of the hammam. When we finish this step and after the exfoliation we will take some time to relax and enjoy a small massage.
We will finish the first step and move to the next room with similar characteristics but with a slightly lower temperature, this helps the body to get used to the new temperature to take a shower before leaving the hammam.
When leaving the main room with the towel we will drink some water to regulate the temperature of our body after undergoing the steam baths.
Our escort will take us back to the riad and the experience will be over (for this time).
