Itinerary :

Day 1 : Buggy Tour

We will pick you up at your riad or accessible point in the morning and head to Agafay which is about 45 minutes from Marrakech.

When we arrive, a professional guide will give you some safety guidelines to explain the two-hour buggy ride activity.

We will discover incredible places and if it is winter you can be lucky enough to see the Atlas with its blanket of snow.
We will pass by Lake Takerkoust and see the reflection of the dunes in the crystal clear water.

We will stop to take photos to remember and then head for a quiet tea before returning to Marrakech.

Anyone who wants to can also take a short camel ride.

Then we head to Marrakech where we will end the activity in the jemaa el afna square near its riad.

Are there dunes in the Agafay Desert?

The Agafay Desert is a smooth rock desert with dune-like hills; there are no sand dunes in the Agafay Desert.

Is it comfortable to ride a camel?

You might feel uncomfortable riding a camel for the first time, but it’s not that difficult to learn. Don’t worry, you’ll get the hang of it very quickly.

How many people can ride a camel at once?

Normally, an adult and a child can comfortably ride a camel. However, on rare occasions, two adults can ride a camel at the same time, depending on their gross weight. An average adult camel can comfortably carry 150 kg (330 lbs).

How should you dress for camel riding in Marrakech?

During your camel ride in Marrakech, dress comfortably; shorts and skirts are not recommended to avoid contact with the camels’ skin and saddles. In case of high temperatures, it is highly advisable to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and fresh water bottles. Your camel operator will provide you with traditional Tuareg clothing to wear during your camel ride (a blue headscarf and tunic).

Optamos por un tour privado para nuestro grupo de 4 personas y nos lo pasamos genial. Las largas horas en el coche se hicieron mucho más cómodas al tener la miniván exclusivamente para nosotros. Nuestro conductor, Abdel, no solo fue cauteloso en la carretera, sino que también fue excepcionalmente amable con nosotros (¡gracias, Adbel!). El tour en sí fue bastante agradable, y la llegada al desierto fue lo más destacado. El alojamiento en el campamento también fue excelente. A pesar de un malentendido, Marrakech Desert Trips lo manejó extraordinariamente bien. Su asistencia es de primera categoría, por lo que puedes confiar en ellos sin ninguna preocupación.
